Infant Aquatics Swim Lesson #10

admin on Feb-6-2010

Here is Mason in his final checkout, during his third week of lessons with Infant Aquatics. Learning to be safe in the water is an essential life skill. Infant Aquatics not only teaches water safety and survival skills, but offers continuing classes to teach parents how to enhance the skills learned in the initial phase of lessons, “Fundays” for 2-4 year olds, and stroke development classes for advanced students. Visit www.infantaquatics.com to discover the difference between being comfortable in the water and loving to swim safely.

Topliff, if you do not find these educational or instructional for young infants then do not watch! It’s quite simply! I applaud the parents, we live in Phoenix were there is a drowning every other week!

god i am sick of these kind of vids !! i come on here thinking it would be a PROPER pre school swimming lesson clip, but instead it is yet another clip of a baby who can,t complain ,whos cries are ignored, being thrown into the water.
babies of this age should NEVER be left unattended next to a pool, only an idiot would do so.

    I REALLY wish I had …
I REALLY wish I had done this with my now 5 year old when she was that age. She’s still a little freaked about water on her face. If we had done lessons like this I would feel a lot more confident knowing she wouldn’t panic and would know what to do if there WAS an accident.

    Imagine the …
Imagine the situation…a curious baby has strayed too close to water (something all children are fascinated by) they are fully clothed (babies do wear clothes!!) and they fall in – surely it is far better for the baby to be able to ‘buy’ some time like this instead of flapping around under the surface and possibly drowning….I can’t believe the ignorance of people who don’t understand the importance of teaching babies and toddlers to be water safe and confident!!!!
    GET ALL BABIES SWIMMING!!

not necessarily. if the water is properly cleaned and babies ears are cleaned after swimming, they shoudn’t get an ear infection

    I think that this …
I think that this is a great idea.I am glad to see that they are teaching the babies to swim with clothes on. This not only teaches them to swim with extra weight, but also when they are limited to the minimal movement you get in jumpsuits. I just hope the parents continue to put their children in classes like these as they get older so they don’t lose their skills.
